Effective Thursday, March 26th: Paola Free Library will remain closed as long as the Miami County Health Department’s “stay-at-home” order is in effect. Currently, that means we will not reopen until Thursday, April 23rd. All items currently checked out now have a due date of May 18th. If you receive any e-mail notifications of late or lost items, please disregard. We will waive any late fines accrued during this time if necessary. Though it is not necessary that you return items before May 18th, you may use the drop box by the alley behind the building if you wish. Staff will check the drop box periodically. All items currently on hold for patrons will be delayed until April 24th at the earliest. Please use this opportunity to become acquainted with our online resources. Staff will post additional information about these resources as well as regular updates regarding City of Paola closures on our website- paolalibrary.org, and our social media pages. Please take care during this challenging period and let’s all hope that this virus will run its course as quickly as possible!
